Established in 2019, and launched in May of the same year at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Smallholding and Countryside Festival, Welsh Homestead Smokery is a micro smokery on a smallholding in the Cambrian Mountains in Ceredigion run by Claire Jesse and family.
They produce seven different flavours of smoked chilli jams ranging from mild to hot. These are all made using chillies grown in the UK – in Pembrokeshire, Cornwall and Bedfordshire, which the company receive fresh from harvest and smoke in their own on-site smoker.
